THE CROSS of course represents the only means of salvation that was paid for the redemption of all mankind, through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, by His death, and shed blood on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, and to satisfy the wrath of God against all mankind, by the righteousness of Christ, who knew no sin, taking the place of the unrighteous sinner on the cross, and providing the only escape from an eternity in hell, and the only hope of everlasting life (John 3:16; John 19:30; Romans 5:1-11; Romans 8:1-13; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Hebrews 9:22-28).
THE WORLD (the right side of cross) represents all unregenerate mankind that needs the gospel to be saved from an eternity in hell, and to be given everlasting life.
While the Lord Jesus Christ died for all, this does not mean that all are automatically saved. The Bible clearly teaches that every sinner, which is the whole human race, needs to repent of their sins, and trust the Lord Jesus Christ by faith alone, to be saved from an eternity in hell, and be given everlasting life. Once one is truly born again they will manifest a life of true holiness, and salvation by bringing forth fruit meet for repentance (Matthew 3:7-10;Luke 13:3; John 3:16; Acts 20:21; Romans 3:23; Romans 8:1-13).
THE WING of a dove (the left side of the cross) represents the Holy Ghost, and the power of the Spirit of God who is the third person of the Trinity(Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 5:1-4; 1 John 5:7), who regenerates and makes every true repentant sinner, who trusts the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour by faith alone for their salvation, a saint, a former sinner, and a true born again Christian, who has received everlasting life, and escaped eternal damnation in hell (John 3:3; Titus 3:5).
And gives them the empowerment for Christian service, by the Baptism with the Holy Ghost to fulfill the great commission, by preaching and evangelizing a lost and dying world on their way to an eternity in hell, unless they repent, and trust the Lord Jesus Christ by faith alone for their salvation (Matthew 3:11,12; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 1:8).
International Deliverance Ministries, located in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada, is an evangelistic ministry, that is based upon the biblical, orthodox, and fundamental Christian Faith, which is Pentecostal in doctrine and practice.
IDM was founded in 2002 by Evangelist Sean Bonitto before an evangelistic camp meeting in Jamaica. Pastor Sean Bonitto was born in 1974, in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada from Jamaican parents who immigrated to Canada in the 1960's.
He was born again in Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario in December 1989 at the age of 15. Obeyed the call of God on his life and prepared for ministry, graduating with a Bachelor of Theology (BTH) from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College located in Peterborough, Ontario in April 1997 (now Masters College and Seminar).
While there, he met his wife, Pamela Bonitto (nee Bussey), and upon her graduation in 1998, also with a Bachelor of Theology, they moved to Kitchener, Ontario where Pastor Sean took position as Youth Pastor for one year at New Life Pentecostal Assembly.
During the years 1999-2003, Pastor Sean travelled, preached, and evangelized in the U.S, Canada, and Jamaica. During this time, God in many ways was leading and calling Pastor Sean and Pam with their two children Esther, and Isaac, to Halifax, Nova Scotia where they presently reside since June 2003.
May 2004, Pastor Sean Bonitto was Ordained into the Full Gospel Ministry, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. And with the Lord's divine help, Rev. Bonitto and his wife planted this ministry. International Deliverance Ministries received the status of a registered charity from the Canada Revenue Agency in 2006, and incorporated in 2008. IDM also has churches on the continent of Africa.
Pastor Sean has also preached revival meetings and evangelistic crusades in India, Liberia, Ghana, Haiti, and the UK, and through IVDRadio is reaching the world with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15-16).
Their vision is quite simple, to see every people, nation and tongue touched and changed by the delivering power of Almighty God from sin and every yoke it brings, through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and faith in Him alone. Thus the name of this ministry, International Deliverance Ministries
